TELEVISION

Aim TV remote at TV and press the power button.

CABLE TV

Use the arrow buttons to highlight  LIVE TV on the ROKU menu. Once  highlighted, press the center button to select. Use the channel up and down  arrows to change channels. 

ONLINE CONTENT

 Most apps require an account to view content. 

 Press the HOME picture on the remote to return to the main selection  screen. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the HOME option, then use the  right arrow to then select what you would like to use (Netflix, Vudu, etc).  Once highlighted, press the center button to select. Login to each app with  your personal account information.

 
REMINDER: Don’t forget to LOGOUT of each app when  you are done! 

SOFA SLEEPER

The couch can be made into a bed by removing the cushions. Following  the laminated directions on the bed frame, or these below.

 TO OPEN

1. Remove the cushions from the sofa.
2. Standing at the bottom, center of the couch, grasp the center handle and  lift up and out on an angle to bring the bed out and first legs to rest on the  floor.
3. Pull the upper bar (bed frame leg) straight up to a vertical position then  grasp the upper frame and pull it straight up and out to unfold the bed.
4. Unfold mattress to lay flat on the frame.

 TO CLOSE

1. Standing at the bottom, center of the sofa sleeper, lift the frame +  mattress straight up and down to fold the bed in half to the top of the  frame.
2. Push down on the extended, vertical, frame leg so that it lays flat  against the frame of the bed.
3. Grasp the center handle and left up and push down on an angle to push  the folded frame into the bottom of the couch frame.
4. Replace cushions on the couch.

 Linens for the sofa sleeper are available upon request.

HDMI

To connect your own HDMI device to the TV, use the supplied HDMI cable coiled behind the TV. The TV will automatically detect your device.  Use the remote to select the HDMI line.

REMOTE: Volume adjustment is on the right SIDE of the remote.

HEATERS + FAN

Heaters: There are 2 wall thermostats.  One is in the hallway, by the front  door, and one is in the bedroom. The hallway register regulates the main  room and kitchen, the bedroom register regulates the bedroom. Press the  up or down arrows to address the temperature of the room. 

Fan: There is a tower fan located on the left hand side of the couch in the  living room, near the sliding glass door. 

TEA KETTLE

To turn on the unit press the dial button located on the flat surface.  Rotate the dial to the desired temperature (up to 212 degrees).  Lower the temperature or turn the unit off when complete.

COFFEE POUR OVER

Bring water to a boil using the electric kettle.

In the meantime, place the stainless steel filter into the mouth of the decanter. Add one level scoop or other desired amount of coffee grounds into the filter.

NOTE: 1 scoop of grounds to 1/2 cup of water. Adjust to your taste.

Once water has boiled pour water over the grounds – just enough to saturate them – starting in the middle with a slow spiral motion.  Wait 30-45 seconds then pour the remaining hot water on the grounds –  this time starting at the outer rim and spiraling towards the center.

STOVE

Select the appropriate burner. Push in knob and turn clockwise to the desired level of heat.

MICRO/CONVECTION

With many features and capabilities, the microwave convection oven can do it all.  For more detailed directions and baking instructions please reach out to guest services.

DISHWASHER

Refer to the in-room laminate for detailed instructions.  Dishwasher pods are provided and located under the sink.

DISH SANITIZATION

For your convenience, all dishes & utensils have been washed. If you would like to further sanitize these items, please reach out to guest services for sanitizing tabs.

DETECTORS

This cabin is equipped with a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector.  The unit is located on the ceiling in the hallway nearest to the front door. If  any detector sounds unexpectedly, please vacate the cabin and notify guest  services immediately. 

BLINDS

Press the center button to lower and raise the blinds. Your unit is equipped  with a step stool, located under the kitchen sink. 

SUNROOF BLIND

Located in the bedroom, see control mounted on the wall, near the  thermostat. Press the center button once to turn on, then select up or down  to open or close. Please note that you have to hit the up or down button  once quickly then again to activate to open or close. 

LAUNDRY PODS

Both the North and South Restrooms are equipped with credit card-operated washers and dryers. For your convenience, we have provided complimentary laundry pods and dryer sheets. These are located on the bathroom shelves, above the toilet, in your unit, next to the basket with the hairdryer in it. 

TIMED FAN/VENT

In the bathroom, near the light switch, there is a timed fan to vent the bathroom. To activate, press how much time you’d like to run the fan. Up to 60 Minutes. To stop, press the white button on the bottom.

BREAKWATER INVENTORY ITEMS

The following list indicates the items stocked in your Breakwater Cabin.

PLEASE NOTE

• If there is a missing or broken item upon arrival, please notify the Front Desk immediately.
• If you require additional or duplicate items during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.  Items such as condiments, shower gels and shampoo can be replenished at any time.
• Housekeeping services are not provided daily; however, we are happy to assist you with a refresh of linens, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, etc. at any time.
• Other items available during your stay, and upon request are: Gas BBQ Grill, Iron & Ironing Board, Pack N Play, Highchair, Baby Stroller, Clamming Equipment, Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, and Sand Toys.
• As noted in the Terms and Conditions: If there is damage, missing or stolen items, or excessive cleaning is required, the card on file will be charged accordingly.
