Adjust water temperature using the rotating handle. The showerhead has a water shut-off selector. Please note that it is normal for the water pressure to be less than a standard house.

Please note: there is only 6 gallons of hot water available at one time (shower and sink use). See WATER HEATER below.

*Additional showers are available at the North + South Restrooms, as well as at the Main Clubhouse, across from the pool entrance.

  • Water Heater

The water tank in this unit holds 6 gallons. Once used it will take approximately 20 minutes to reheat another 6 gallons of water.

To ensure that the water heater in your unit is set to reheat: engage the rocker switch in the restroom (located below the windownd with the “lightning bolt” symbol) by depressing the top of the rocker switch so that the “flame” symbol in the off position.

  • Water Closet

The commode in the Airstream requires water in the bowl before each use.

    PRE-FILL

Press the floor pedal gently so that the bowl fills. This is the same pedal used for flushing and requires a gentle touch when just filling the basin.
For solid waste and/or more than a few sheets of toilet paper, we recommend filling the bowl ¾ full.
For liquid, and minimal paper, you can fill to ½ full.

    FLUSH

Once ready to flush simply depress the pedal. The valve will open while water rises through the bowl.
Tank levels are monitored and checked at least every 3 days and flushed/dumped as needed. If you are having any issues please contact the resort team immediately.

Fill Tea Kettle with desired about of water. Place Tea Kettle on stove top. Turn stove top on to desired heat temperature.

Kettle will whistle when the water is boiling.

    ELECTRIC KETTLE

Temperature settings are at the top of the handle. You can also select “keep warm” at the top of the handle next to the temperature controls.

  • Coffee Maker

You will find one or the other of these kettles in your unit

    POUR OVER

Bring water to a boil using the electric kettle. In the meantime, place the stainless steel filter into the mouth of the decanter. Add one level scoop or other desired amount of coffee grounds into the filter.

NOTE: 1 scoop of grounds to 1/2 cup of water. Adjust to your taste.

Once water has boiled pour water over the grounds – just enough to saturate them – starting in the middle with a slow spiral motion. Wait 30-45 seconds then pour the remaining hot water on the grounds – this time starting at the outer rim and spiraling towards the center.

    FRENCH PRESS

Add the desired amount of grounds into the empty vessel. Slowly pour the desired amount of boiling water into the carafe, making sure you leave enough room for the plunger. Place the top of your French press on top of the water/coffee mixture and depress the plunger slightly (roughly 2 inches, and not completely down to the bottom). Allow your coffee to steep for 4-5 minutes and allow more time for a stronger coffee. When ready, slowly depress the plunger all the way to the bottom.

NOTE: Avoid pressing the plunger down quickly, it can cause over spillage and weak coffee. Also, rinse out the carriage and mesh filter after using and hand dry.

  • Laundry Pods

Both the North and South Restrooms are equipped with credit card operated washers and dryers. For your convenience we have provided complimentary laundry pods and dryer sheets in this unit. These are located in the middle bathroom cabinet, directly under the window.

If curtain is opened: Take hold of the tassel and gently pull screen down to the bottom rail. Place the tassel into place for a locked position.

  • Windows

While not every window in the Airstream International is designed to open, those that do will require special care, especially when locking into place and when closing. The glass is delicate and can shatter if not properly set into position or closed manually.

    When opening the window:

    • Disengage the bottom latches
    • Grasp window arm knobs
    • Gently pull upward with equal pressure
    • Be mindful not to use excessive force

Please note: warm weather may cause the window glass to “stick” to the rubber seal.

  • Door Locks

The key unlocks the top lock. To ensure that the door remains unlocked while in use, set the inside lever in the upwards position. If down, the door will automatically lock behind you.

If you are locked out of your unit please notify resort personnel immediately.

  • Awning

The awning for this unit has been deactivated.

  • Emergency Exit

The emergency exit window is located above the bed in the bedroom.

To access the window, undo the Velcro on the curtains and pull them back to expose the entire window.

Locate the gray pull string on the screen in the center, bottom of the window. Pull directly up to disengage and remove the screen.

Warm weather may cause the window glass to “stick” to the rubber seal. When opening the window, disengage the bottom latches, grasp window arm knobs, and gently pull upward with equal pressure. Do not use excessive force.
